LIONHEADS

Lionheads are a small, compact, intelligent breed that appreciates independence. Lionheads originated in Europe, although they were introduced here in North America close to three decades ago and since then have become well-developed and established. There are many showable colors that have been passed by the ARBA in the recent years, and hopefully many more will pass in the years to come.

At Twin Peaks Rabbitry, we've been breeding Lionheads since 2009. Take a look below to get to know our Lionhead breeding pair, which can trace their family trees all the way to Twin Peaks' first Lionheads about fifteen years ago. Currently, we focus on breeding for Blue-Eyed Whites, which are not yet a showable Lionhead color. I have many breeder recommendations I am happy to share for those looking for showable Lionheads.

We have recently shifted our focus to our European Teddywidders, but do occasionally have a litter of Lionheads.
